Official Notice: Wine Vikings 2026 Cancellation

After careful consideration, Feaster and Wine Vikings have made the difficult decision to cancel all Wine Vikings 2026 programming, including our scheduled June events at Playland.

This was not a decision we made lightly. We recognize how much anticipation surrounds Wine Vikings this year, and we know many of you—guests, partners, and vendors alike—plan well in advance to be part of it. We are incredibly grateful for that continued support and commitment.

The reality is that the broader event landscape in Vancouver this year has been uniquely challenging. The presence of FIFA-related activity across the city has created significant and unavoidable pressure on venues, infrastructure, scheduling, and logistics at nearly every level. These factors have made it impossible for us to deliver the caliber of experience that you deserve.

Rather than compromise on quality, safety, or the overall guest experience, we believe the responsible decision is to pause for 2026.

Wine Vikings will be taking place at PNE Playland at 2901 E. Hastings in Vancouver, BC.
This priority pass gives access to 5 specific rides. Visit the selected rides 1 (one) time each, through the rapid pass entrance. Limited quantities available online and on-site while supplies last. We recommend you purchase your rapid passes ahead of time as they may sell out.

Tickets start at their lowest price and as they sell and as the event gets closer, ticket prices increase.

There are two categories of tickets: GA and Fast Pass VIP

GA tickets start at $55 and will eventually end up at their regular price of $75, before selling out.
Fast Pass VIP tickets start at $100 and will eventually end up at their regular price of $140, before selling out. There are limited amount of Fast Passes Available
Yep! We will be soaking up the rays of sun or frolicking within the drops of rain.
Each product is purchased at the event using the festival token. Tokens are digital can be pre-purchased or purchased on your mobile phone at the event.

Most, if not all beverage samples at Wine Vikings are about $4 (+tax) worth of tokens .
Food is available for purchase on site using credit/debit cards.
Make sure you are on the Feaster list. This is where any and all of the above will be released. Sign up for the list on the Wine Vikings website.
We do not have a different ticket available for DDs. We welcome designated drivers and have thus the ticket is now a-la-carte in that you are just purchasing admission and if you want to sample alcohol, you’d purchase tokens to do so. Purchasing a GA ticket also gives the DD access to many food items, the concerts, non-alc beverage samples and entertainment. DO NOT DRINK AND DRIVE!

No. All tickets are 100% mobile!
Wine Vikings tickets are non-refundable. Tickets are transferable and thus can be given away to friends or sold on 3rd party sites. We do not hold any responsibility for tickets that are bought, sold, given away or received privately as there is no way to trace them to the new buyer.
If the event is postponed for any reason, tickets will not be refunded. All tickets will be valid for the next Wine Vikings
No, there is not.
Tickets are all mobile tickets. Tickets will be will issued via email/inside your Ticketleader.ca account.
Yes. We use a 3rd party ticketing site and they don’t work for free. The fees have been negotiated for the benefit of our guests and continue to be minimal. Regarding tax, only GST is charged on tickets.
Parking lots are run by the PNE and thus still to be determined. But, it is a beer festival so please do not drive to the event.
Yes. If you require parking for the disabled, there will be spots onsite. There are ramps where needed for wheelchair and more gradual ups and downs where necessary.

Every single person attending has to be 19 years or older, with no exceptions. Proof of age is required to gain entry. So, you can bring your kids, as long as they are 19 years or older.
